What is the Metaverse? - All You Need to Know - khushi jaglan

                 What is metaverse?

In simple words, Metaverse is made up of two words meta and verse. Here the word meta means beyond and verse means universe. Imagine a world without physical limitations, where you can experience things that are not possible in real-world, with anyone across the world, with anyone across the globe, at any time.    

Virtual reality that humans can explore and experience via Avatars. Instead of scrolling through the 2D world wide web, you wil be scrolling through 3D embodiment, you are in it. It's a shared digital reality where you will exist as whoever you have designed your avatar to be. Metaverse is the next version of internet. Metaverse is a virtual social experience in which users can connect with people's, play games and can attend their meetings, and also they can travel from one place to another. It's like an online world that can be designed by the imagination of a person. You can imagine that metaverse is a digital universe or virtual world. Now, what things our virtual world can have. It can have a home, office, entertainment zone, etc, etc. But do you know what is the start point of metaverse? 

I personally believe that when we feel that our digital self is more important than our physical self, that is where the start point of the metaverse concept is started. Although a single interconnected metaverse doesn't exist yet, it's understood that it will revolve around a fully functioning economy allowing users to buy and sell goods, which they can Port across the world.

                 Future of metaverse:-

Metaverse is the next version of the internet. It's a virtual world where people like you and I can talk to anyone on Facebook or other platforms even if that person is on another side of the globe in the metaverse. You can go one step ahead and literally interact with that person, laugh with that person and even go to the coffee with them in the virtual world. As if you are actually meeting them. Furthermore, because of this virtual world just like we have these amazing games world like GTA, witcher, and many more, you can literally travel to these fascinating places and can have a virtual experience but the question is that doesn't this all seems unreal?

I mean you have to wear a giant box on your head to get into the metaverse but it will be very costly and on top of that you need to hold something in your hands all the time and most importantly with the current internet bandwidth it's not even possible to use the metaverse then why are companies so aggressively trying to embrace something that cannot even be used by most of the people but you know what they are thinking? 

When the time will pass the cost of the internet will drop and the speed of the internet will also increase and the oculus will also be picked up drastically and this oculus will be in cheap prizes so that everyone can use and then all the companies those are investing in metaverse will gonna get more and more benefits because whoever will use metaverse they have to buy clothes to their avatar and some people will buy land In metaverse and that's why those who are investing in it will get more and more financial benefits.  One day it can possible that there will be 25 people from 25 different countries who want to talk about some topic for their organization and also consider that we do have a team where a German and American, a Chinese and an Indian executive have to work together to achieve a common goal then the metaverse can literally help us to make incredible teams and this will give a company many amazing benefits. First of all, in the training session, people could have bonded and they can also sense belonging towards the company. It will lead to effective training and productivity will also gonna increase because they will not feel that they are discussing something with strangers but if we compare it with today then if the session will be on zoom and then you have no idea how they are taking your suggestion because you can't sense them but in metaverse, you can sense them because your avatar will sit together. Mainly our online presence will be more as compare to physical presence. It's a 3D platform where we can do everything instead of seeing them face to face. We would be interacting with them online through avatars. In the metaverse, you can be whatever you want to be. I mean you can change your hairstyle, skin tone and many more.

  How can we earn money in the metaverse?

1) By designing 3D accessories for users:- 

Those who have some knowledge of 3D then they can create dresses, weapons, hairstyles, headphones, and many more. In metaverse, users will dress their avatars and then they have to buy all the accessories to use, and then you will get money.

2) Buy and Sell land:-

You can buy land and most companies are investing their money in the metaverse. Any user can buy land for a fixed price and later they can sell them at a higher price.

3) By consulting events with paid tickets:-

It's really a great way to earn money through live events. Real artists can attract many people and they can charge users in the form of ticket

      ADVANTAGES OF METAVERSE

1) Worldwide Connections: you can meet people worldwide and also you can find someone who is similar to your interest and ideas, also you can make friends worldwide.

2) Better Social Interaction: There will be better social interaction online. While there was COVID time then at that time we can talk with anyone online but we can't feel them and sense them but it is possible because we can have real experience through our avatars. 

3) Improvements in online education: Online learning and education will be much better in the metaverse. People from all over the world will be able to study together. In the metaverse, one can also see the visualizing things. If you have some pictures in your mind then you can also show them. As everyone knows during the COVID pandemic, students can't even take their classes regularly and they were unable to clear the topics. So, it will be very helpful in online education. 

4) New Business Opportunities: Metaverse will also provide new business opportunities. As we all know that on social media lot of people do marketing, some people use social media for advertising their products but user only see that product, they can't touch it, feel it and hold it. In the metaverse, it is possible. Users can hold that product, touch it, feel and also they can try that product. So it will help both the user also and businessman also because more users will gonna try their product and most probably there are chances if the product is good in quality then they will purchase that. So, metaverse will provide new business opportunities.

5) Improvements To Gaming: Metaverse is in its early stages, many companies have launched 3D gaming platforms. Now gamers can only play games but they don't have any real experience but in the metaverse it is possible. Characters in metaverse will be regulated through players unique avatars. These avatars will live in the metaverse same as people live in the real world. In the metaverse, players can play and earn money, in which players can win the gaming items in the virtual world and they can sell them to real-world money.
